In his work as a portraitist, Jean-Baptiste Huynh focuses on the gaze and interiority of the subject. By isolating the person from any social context thanks to a neutral black or grey background, Jean-Baptiste Huynh enables viewers to immerse themselves in an intimate, pure, face-to-face experience, as is the case between the artist and the photographed subject during the shoot.
