Series

Jean-Baptiste Huynh presents his refined and timeless photographic writing through recurring themes in his work: the gaze, the image of oneself, light, timelessness and the relationship to infinity. The artist’s photographic series are organized around travels (Vietnam 1996, Japan 2002, Mali 2003, India 2004, Ethiopia 2005, Kenya 2020), nature (Plants, Prehistoric Stones, Insects, Meteorites), the study of body (Nudes, Hands, Study of hands), light (Fire, Twilight, Mirrors, Monochrome, Reflection), his work as a portrait painter (Eyes, Huyen, Animals, Woman) and finally his work at the heart of the collections of major international museums (Louvre, Guimet, Rodin, Natural History Museum – London, Naturistoriches Museum – Vienne).
