Crépuscules (2008)
Study of the diffraction of light in the sky a few seconds before sunrise and after sunset. Gradations of colors on the light spectrum.
These images were taken at the world’s leading observatories, equipped with the most cutting-edge telescopes:
- Very Large Telescope Observatory, Paranal, Chile
- Large Millimeter Array Observatory, Atacama Desert, Chile
- Teide Observatory, Tenerife, Spain
Other photos were taken in Hue in Vietnam, Cape Town in South Africa, and Kangerlussuaq in Greenland.
The works from the CREPUSCULES series can be found in the LUMIERE book, which accompanied the Rémanence retrospective of Jean-Baptiste Huynh’s work at the Louvre Museum in 2012.
