Expositions Major exhibitions
Jean-Baptiste Huynh’s photographic work takes shape in his exhibitions and the importance he attaches to their scenographic design. The artist exhibits in various museums, galleries, fairs and prestigious public and private collections around the world.
In 2002, the European House of Photography in Paris, presented the Eyes exhibition accompanied by a book bringing together his portraits of the greatest international photographers and painters. The Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris devoted a retrospective to him in 2006, Le Regard à travail, exhibiting his portrait work through major cultural groups. In 2012, the Louvre Museum invited him to present the personal exhibition Rémanence, bringing together unpublished images inspired by the museum’s collections. In this continuity, the National Museum of Asian Arts – Guimet presents in 2019 the exhibition Infinis d’Asie, a retrospective of the work of Jean-Baptiste Huynh carried out in Asia for 30 years, enriched with new photographs taken in the museum’s collections.
