Yeux (2000-2002)

In 1999, the Maison Européenne de la Photographie commissioned Jean-Baptiste Huynh to create portraits of the world's leading photographers and visual artists. A young self-taught portrait photographer, he persuaded the major artists of his time, including David Hockney, Sophie Calle, Eikoh Hosoë, William Klein, Sebastião Salgado, and Joel-Peter Witkin, to pose for him.
The portraits in this series were presented at the <bYeux exhibition at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in 2002, accompanied by a catalog of the same name.
