A study of faces through the ages in Ethiopia, alternating with symbolic images: everyday objects, religious objects, animals, plants, landscapes, etc., emblematic of the country's culture. Jean-Baptiste Huynh took the photographs in Jinka, Lalibela, Harar, and the Omo Valley.

The works in this series are reproduced in the book Ethiopia, with a preface by Henry-Claude Cousseau, published by Éditions Cinq Continents / Éditions du Cil, 2005.
