Mali 2003
Jean-Baptiste Huynh’s work in Mali represents his discovery of Africa and his first portraits of the faces of Black men and women. This is the second chapter in a collection that was completed in 2004 with INDE and in 2005 by ETHIOPIE. The face, depicted through age ranges and the major cultural and ethnic groups, is the running theme of this photographic project.
